Little League Day at the Ballers June 22

The Oakland Ballers are welcoming youth baseball organizations from across Oakland on Sunday, June 22 for their 1:05pm game versus the Glacier Range Riders. As part of this special day, $10 from every $15 ticket purchased through our link will benefit NOLL/SOLL!

Come out and enjoy a beautiful day at Raimondi Park and celebrate with NOLL/SOLL! After this game, kids are invited to run the bases on the field and Ballers players will stick around to sign autographs.

Closing Day Celebration May 31

Join us to celebrate the end of the regular season and kick off summer with a Home Run Derby (ages 8-14 – the $20 registration fee goes toward league fundraising), Wiffle ball games for all ages, the famous Intermediates Snack Shack, recognition of our division champions and other activities!

Cal Night

Join us under the lights at UC Berkeley’s Evans Diamond on Friday, May 9 at 6pm to watch Cal Baseball take on Florida State with your NOLL/SOLL community!

Your ticket gets you access to a private ‘Chalk Talk’ with the Cal baseball players before the game and the opportunity to stand with the players on the field for the National Anthem. Tickets are $14 ($16.78 with service fee).

Free Winter Clinic & Mock Tryout

NOLL/SOLL players trying out for AA, AAA, and Majors can build their skills and preview the tryout process at a free clinic on December 8 with former professional Cuban baseball player Michel Rodriquez. This clinic will be especially helpful if your player will be trying out for NOLL/SOLL for the first time.

The 4-hour clinic will consist of:

  • Fielding ground balls
  • Fielding footwork
  • Throwing
  • Catching fly balls
  • Live batting practice
  • Hitting techniques
  • Mock NOLL/SOLL tryout

This is for your player if they:

  • Will be going trying out for NOLL/SOLL for the first time in January
  • Will be trying out for AA, AAA, or Majors
  • Are feeling a little anxious about tryouts
  • Want to preview the tryout in a low-stress environment with feedback
  • Want to brush up on their skills in advance of the tryout
  • Want to learn from a former professional Cuban baseball player

Discounted ITA Clinics for NOLL/SOLL players

ITA is running a December special for NOLL/SOLL participants on their Hitting & Defense Clinic: $275 for 8 sessions (December 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23 and 30).

  • Camp will be held at ITA (1435 Park Ave., Emeryville)
  • 2 sessions each day to choose from: 5pm or 6pm – choose what session works best for you each day
  • For players age 6+ – all ages welcome
  • Led by former professional baseball player, Archie Gilbert
  • Players will work on all aspects of hitting and fielding
  • Players will work in small groups to develop and improve players’ techniques and approaches.
  • Each camp will consist of 30 minutes of hitting drills and 30 minutes of fielding drills.

What to expect:

  • Proper set up at the plate

Let’s Play Ball Oakland Kids

OGSL, NOLL/SOLL, Oakland Babe Ruth and the new Oakland Ballers are partnering to host an event next Sunday as a way to draw more players to our Oakland youth leagues and close out the season with a bang!

Let’s Play Ball Oakland Kids! happens Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 11am-2pm at DeFremery Park. Kids ages 5-14 are invited to take part in your favorite Opening Day carnival games and learn-to-play clinics for players new to softball and baseball. The event is free to the public with support from Activate Oakland.

Please invite your friends and family who have been considering softball or baseball so they can learn more about our league and our youth baseball programs in the city!

A’s Night April 12th

We missed seeing you for the NOLL/SOLL Opening Day and would love to have as many as our kids and teams attend this (last ever!) A’s Night as possible. We will have some pretty cool snacks and activities, another opportunity to run wild in Stomper’s playground, and lots of Jumbotron time. We hope to see you there!

Come join your NOLL/SOLL teammates as the Oakland Athletics battle the Washington Nationals on April 12, 2024.

Bonus this year: we’ll provide snacks, drinks, surprises, and exclusive use of Oak Landing for the whole game! Enjoy snacks, play games, and have fun before the game starts. Stomper will even make a special guest appearance!

$30 Early Bird Tickets (through March 23) are on sale now! Each ticket automatically enrolls you in a raffle to throw the first pitch!

Cal Game Night April 19

Come join your NOLL/SOLL teammates as the Cal Bears take on Oregon State on April 19th at 6:05pm. Bonus this year: we’ll have an Anthem Buddies activity available for some kids that arrive early to the game in time for the National Anthem!

Bring snacks, play games, and have fun before the game starts. Tickets will be picked up in front of the stadium before game time. Arrive between 5:30pm and 6:30pm to pick up your tickets from our volunteers for a 6:05pm game start time.

Archie Gilbert February Clinics

Friend-of-NOLL/SOLL Archie Gilbert is offering a February special for his Hitting & Defense Clinic in Emeryville:

$250 for 17 sessions (that’s less than $15 per session)

Clinic Dates: February 1; 5-8; 12-15, 19-22; 26-29
2 sessions to choose from each day: 5pm & 6pm
Only 20 players per group will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

For players ages 6+

Led by former professional baseball player, Archie Gilbert, players will work on all aspects of hitting and fielding during our Unlimited Hitting & Fielding Clinic. We will be working in small groups to develop and improve players’ techniques and approaches. Each camp will consist of 30 minutes of hitting drills and 30 minutes of fielding drills. Each segment will be dedicated to the improvement of form, technique and the development of proper mechanics.
