Who? Volunteers interested in coaching youth baseball in Oakland.
When? We have 4 programs in need of volunteer coaches:
Spring (Feb through early June, tryouts in early Jan)
Fall (Labor Day through mid November)
Seniors (Memorial Day through July)
Challenger (Spring season on Sundays)
What? NOLL/SOLL is a Little League program. We provide youth baseball to 1500 youth in Oakland annually with over 100 teams. We often need volunteers skilled and passionate about baseball to coach older teams in our league. Please submit a request so we can see if there is a spot available to help out.
Springs team practice once weekly and have 1-2 games weekly. Fall teams have practice once per week and games once per week. Seniors is a short but intense season of many games/practices per week (and also some of our best baseball!). Challenger is a great program for players who have special needs.
All volunteers approved by the board will be required to pass a criminal background check before being allowed to coach in Little League.
