Overview
NOLL/SOLL is a completely volunteer-run program:
- We do not receive field maintenance from any of the cities we lease our fields from
- Our coaches and adult umpires are all unpaid volunteers
- We do not have paid staff
To keep NOLL/SOLL running, each participating family is expected to complete a certain amount of volunteer service.
This means that every team is expected to identify people to fill certain mandatory season-long volunteer positions, and to contribute the requisite number of umpires (for competitive divisions) and field maintenance volunteers to actually hold games. Likewise, every team is expected to contribute to league-wide activities.
At the competitive levels (AA and higher), teams must complete a minimum level of volunteer service to be eligible for playoffs.
At all levels, teams with exceptional volunteer service will be rewarded.
Record Keeping
Once you have completed a job, you must inform your team's Volunteer Admin who will track your service.
If you have multiple children in the league, you may choose whihc team your service applies to.
