Request Game Assignments

Memo to Umpires
WELCOME!
UMPIRES REGISTER HERE (Live as of 2/5/08)! Click on "Umpires Register Here" and register on-line in order to umpire NOLL/SOLL games (signing up as an umpire volunteer with your child's team does not get you registered).
-REQUESTING GAMES: Once the various division schedules are posted, you will be able to request games. After registering here (and waiting a day or so for the registration to be entered into the system), you can request games through sPortability. You will receive an email confirming your request and, normally within a few days, another email assigning you the game or denying the request with an explanation (for example, someone else had requested it first.)
-MENTORING PROGRAM: There is a mentoring program for people who are interested in working with more experienced umpires initially. When you register to umpire, you will be asked whether you are interested in either mentoring or being mentored.
-RULE UPDATES--Highlights of new rules for this year (national and local).
Join the NOLLSOLL Umpire Discussion Forum
We have a discussion forum for talking about rules and other issues and finding game assignment replacements. In order to join, go to http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/nollsoll and ask to join the group. On the top right hand side of the page, find the button entitled "Join This Group". If you have a Yahoo ID, enter it. Otherwise, follow the directions for signing up. Once you have your ID, your request to join the group will be forwarded to the group moderator. As soon as the request is approved, you will receive an email notification and can begin posting messages and participating in the discussions. Note: This forum does not replace the sPortability game scheduling and assignment website for requesting game assignments.
