Dateline 6/23: The Juniors NOLL A's resumed their game against Lafayette this morning in Clayton Valley with no margin for error. They gave up a single run in a single inning, but it went for an 8-7 victory for Lafayette. Meanwhile, in Alameda the AA SOLL T-Rats took on a gritty Clayton Valley squad. The T-Rats rode the strong pitching of Tommy Richardson and Takeo Prather to a 14-4 victory. Congrats to the District 4 Champion SOLL Timber Rattlers.

Dateline 6/21: Lafayette Yankees complete the sweep of Majors teams, eliminating the NOLL Giants tonight. On home turf, the AA SOLL T-Rats advance at the expense of the NOLL Volcanoes. T-Rats will play for the AA Championship Sat morning at 11a at Alameda. Juniors NOLL A's battled to a 7-7 tie as darkness set in. They will complete their game at 10a in Clayton Valley, and if they win, they advance to the Juniors Championship at the same location vs Albany. Good luck to our two final teams!

Dateline 6/19: AAA bowed out, with the SOLL Sounds falling behind early and never able to catch up. Majors split, meaning NOLL will have to avenge SOLL instead of facing them. Juniors is still alive thanks to a strong victory by the NOLL A's. And AA is alive and kicking, with both the NOLL Volcanoes and SOLL T-Rats winning. The wins mean that these two teams will square off in the semifinals for the second consecutive year. Come see the show at Chabot on Thu 6/21!

Dateline 6/16: Summer heat had many NOLL/SOLL teams playing in triple digit weather on this Saturday morning/afternoon. The Majors teams both won, as did the homestanding AA Volcanoes. AAA Cannons had a lead but couldn't hang on and the Jrs Mets had a single bad inning cost them a victory, too.
