Dateline 6/18: Oakland's AAA champs face off in the opening round, with the Lookouts completing the season sweep. In Majors, the A's beat host Walnut Creek while the Nationals lost to a pair of brothers - one throwing a shutout and the other hitting 2 HRs. Juniors Astros advance by forfeit.

Dateline 6/20: After knocking out their SOLL bretheren, the AAA Lookouts take their show on the road, beating Antioch. The SOLL T-Rats open the AA tournament with a win as well.

Dateline 6/21: Juniors take opposite roads - NOLL cruises to a 15-0 win, SOLL was tied 3-3 in the 7th when the sprinklers came on. Game will be resumed Thu at 4pm, winner plays their regularly scheduled game. The final remaining Majors team bowed out with a close loss to Alameda, 6-4.

Dateline 6/22: Minors continues to show well for NOLL/SOLL. The AAA Lookouts blanked Alameda, and both AA teams posted close wins with wildly different scores - the Volcanoes winning 5-1 in a pitchers' duel and the T-Rats winning 14-12 in a slug and walk fest. With the first round matchup in AAA and the semifinal matchup in AA, after tomorrow those divisions will be a combined 7-2 with 2 teams in the District Championships, and the only losses coming to one another.

Dateline 6/23: 2 more Oakland teams advanced to the District 4 championships today! In Juniors, the NOLL A's beat Concord American and hope to keep the D4 banner in town. In AA, the T-Rats squeaked past the Volcanoes, sending SOLL to the championship as well. Those two join the AAA Lookouts in the banner hunt. One other TOC game - in Juniors, the Astros found a sprinkler free field, but couldn't win the continuance against Continental.
